In this new project, Marcos proposes a reflection on landscape as a political, social and symbolic construction. Through images of architecture, ruins, infrastructure and intervened territories, the artist reveals the traces of power, memory and the processes of transformation that traverse contemporary space. The landscape thus appears as a scene of conflict, but also as a place of resistance, permanence and possibility.
The exhibition is in line with some of his most emblematic works and consolidates a visual investigation that addresses ecological, historical and social issues from a perspective that is both critical and poetic.
