This exhibition focuses on today\\\\\\\’s role of collectors and explore why they are so important, both for artists and the entire art system. The exhibition features a number of world-famous artists from Lucio Fontana, Jim Dine, and Tony Cragg to Anastasia Khoroshilova, Sara Rahbar, Patricia Piccinini, the majority of whom have never been made available to audiences in Slovenia before now. Art collecting is extremely underrated in Slovenia so this exhibition is an attempt to highlight the role played by the collector in society and the art world and can serve as a case study revealing the ways in which collectors can support art and culture in today’s globalized world and hectic times.
