Vaivén: Sevilla – Iberoamérica. Fundación Valentín de Madariaga y Oya. Sevilla, Spain

Ángel Marcos – Joan Fontcuberta

23.11.23 – 08.01.24

‘Vaivén: Seville – Ibero-America’, an exhibition that explores the traces of the journeys, exchanges and transformations that have shaped the relationship between Seville and the Ibero-American territories.

Through this constant back-and-forth movement, the exhibition reflects on how encounters between cultures have shaped iconography, portraying the identity of peoples and territories. Since the dawn of humanity, nomadism in search of food has been a driving force for survival, a practice that has evolved but remains present throughout history.
